La Valle

Description

La Valle is an ongoing project dedicated to the restoration of a stone farmhouse set in a panoramic valley just outside Barberino Tavarnelle. The works include consolidating the original masonry, fully rebuilding the timber and terracotta tile roof and restoring the lime plasters, keeping the character of Tuscan rural architecture fully legible. Inside, the spaces are reorganised into three independent residential units, with new high-efficiency systems, underfloor heating and bespoke timber windows. The project also covers the landscaping of the farmyard, the surrounding olive grove and an infinity pool facing the valley.
